Lists

Astrid allows you to filter your tasks and view them in ways that are most helpful to you. When you press the list icon in the top left corner, you are taken to the Filters and Lists view.

View Layout:

Filters

  • Active Tasks: Lets you view all of your tasks, regardless of any tags. There is no filter in this view option, except that you don’t see completed, hidden, or deleted tasks.
  • Recently Modified: Displays tasks organized in reverse chronological order – the last one that you changed is on top.
  • Search: Searches both active and completed tasks to quickly find exactly what you’re looking for.
  • Custom Filter: Allows you to create a custom-designed filter to perfectly suit your needs.

Lists

  • Not In Any List: See all tasks that do not belong to any list. A great way to see the tasks that could do some organizing.
  • My Lists: See all your lists sorted by the number of tasks assigned to them (number of tasks are listed in parentheses next to the tag). A great way to see how your tasks break down into what categories.

  • Tap the Add Criteria button to select criteria by which your tasks will be filtered. The blue number on the right shows how many tasks fit the filter.

    • Or has criteria will include tasks that satisfy the specified criteria in addition to tasks specified by the previous filters.
    • Not has criteria will remove all tasks from current list specified by this filter.
    • Delete row remove a given filter and its affects from your list.
  • Save & View to finish. The new filter will appear under Saved Filters on the Filters page.
